Chickenkari embroidery

I like chicken work embroidery very much.  I tried these motifs on my hanky. For the first time I think it is not bad but should practice more.  I want to do some more chicken work on a saree or my daughter's kameez.

TAST 2012 week 21 - Butterfly chain stitch

This weeks challenge Tast 2012 week 21 Butterfly chain stitch.
This is a new stitch for me. First I was confused on how to wrap the straight stitches but after some trials I have learnt the technique.    

TAST 2012 - week 20 - Bullion stitch

1. For week 20 tast I have tried some variations in first two rows.
2. Sun flower bullion stitch petals , pollens with french knots, stem - chevron and German knotted    button hole & back stitch.

4. Mirror work with petals bullion and button hole stitch daisy.

TAST 2012 - 19th Week - Half Chevron Stitch

I have tried some variations of Half chevron stitch for 19th week challenge TAST 2012.

TAST 2012 18th week - Crossed buttonhole stitch

Crossed Buttonhole stitch is new to me.  I tried some stitches on matty cloth and then on plain cloth. I tried with small beads, it looks pretty and it looks nice for borders.  I used this stitch as neckline border on my daughter's salwar top with mirror work embroidery.
